Misty Mountain – a
nature lover’s haven – is a 280 hectare South African Natural Heritage
Site situated on the spectacular Long Tom Pass (31 kilometres from
Lydenburg and 24 kilometres from Sabie), Mpumalanga, South Africa.
Perched at an altitude of 1700 metres above sea level in a malaria free
area, Misty Mountain is uniquely set in mountainous countryside with
majestic views across the escarpment and into the lowveld. Misty
Mountain is a relaxed, informal,
family friendly, owner managed establishment. Our chalets are geared for
couples or families, our tariffs include bed and breakfast but, for
lunches and dinners, guests can enjoy superior country cooking from our
extensive a la carte menu in the restaurant or self cater at their
chalets. On a summer’s day, lounge around in the sun
at one of our two pools,
or huddle around the fire place on a winters night.
Misty
Mountain has 27 chalet
units (total of 84 beds) offering comfortable, country style
accommodation with easy access to the restaurant and all other
facilities. Our accommodation is (3) Star graded and accredited
as Highly Recommended through the AA Quality Assured
Accommodation Programme.
Further to the
above we have full conference & wedding facilities,
with seating capacity
of approximately 80 guests.

Conference capacity range from 35-90 delegates and depends on
seating arrangements
