than an hour's drive to the Kruger National park. The Woodsman offers each
valued guest comfort in a choice of 12 up market Tudor style suites. Beautifully decorated with period
furniture,
Victorian baths, heaters, ceiling fans, clock/radio, TV, M-net. Each room is
equipped with tea and coffee facilities. Selected rooms have balconies and a
breathtaking view of the valley. Each and every need has been carefully
considered. Breakfast served, at the adjacent Woodsman Restaurant, consists
of fruit, cheeses, muffins, cereals, yogurt, bacon and eggs toast.
The highly recommended Woodsman Pub and Restaurant provides restaurant goers
with a variety of Local, Greek - Cypriot dishes. The restaurant offers a
magnificent panoramic view from atop a mountainside, with the Greek /
South-African Georghiades family as genial hosts. The pub offers a separate
menu and provides a scrumptious breakfast. For
the not so hungry a continental breakfast of muffins with honey, maple syrup
or jam is served.
Light meals
are served throughout the day on our wooden terrace and include the
typically Greek souvlaki (kebab) and chips, an array of salads, mousaka
and stifadho (a rich stew made from beef, onions, red wine and spices).
We offer the
valued customer personalised service, while browsing through a wide and
varied selection of quality African art, handcrafted curios and gifts.
This
exclusive gift shop also offers a choice of traditional African dress,
Safari wear and also casual comfortable clothing. Unusual and
rare jewellery as well as hand-painted cloth, wall hangings and batiks
allow the customer a huge choice for that unique gift or souvenir.
